Alessia Belotti
Curator and external relations manager

 

Born in 1996 in Seriate (Bergamo, Italy) she is a curator interested in the relational, participatory and communicative aspect developed within the latest trends in contemporary art. It also pays particular attention to the choice of materials used by the artists, preferring those of a poor nature, plastic and reused.

In 2018 founded the curatorial collective ACME Art Lab, with Melania Raimondi and Camilla Remondina, aimed at enhancing and disseminating contemporary art through exhibition projects, performances, educational workshops, conferences and other artistic events, highlighting emerging and/or little-known artists.

Recent curatorial experiences include: Contaminazioni, Francesca Pasquali‘s solo show, Bunker, Brescia, Italy (2019), part of Meccaniche della Meraviglia 13, a thirteen editions cultural event active in Brescia aimed at valorize spaces usually closed; she also collaborated with Francesca Pasquali Archive (Bologna, Italy).

Alessia has a degree in Art Education for Museums at the “SantaGiulia” Fine Arts Academy in Brescia (Italy).
