Melania Raimondi
Curator and communication manager
Born in Brescia (Italy) in 1994, she is an art curator particularly interested in the installation, material and performative languages of the latest trends in contemporary art.
In 2018 founded the curatorial collective ACME Art Lab, with Alessia Belotti and Camilla Remondina, aimed at enhancing and disseminating contemporary art through exhibition projects, performances, educational workshops, conferences and other artistic events, highlighting emerging and/or little-known artists. Since 2019 she collaborates with the Francesca Pasquali Archive (Bologna, Italy) and she was an executive member of WOWomen Festival (Brescia, Italy) from 2018 to 2020.
Recent curatorial experiences include: Geminantis, bi-personal exhibition with Laura Renna and Silvia Inselvini, Spazio contemporanea, Brescia, Italy (2019), part of Meccaniche della Meraviglia 13, a thirteen editions cultural event active in Brescia aimed at valorize spaces usually closed; curatorial assistant for the exhibition Zagreb calling: Ivan Picelj, Vjenceslav Richter e Julije Knifer, Cortesi Gallery, Milan, Italy (2019) and for the Shenzhen Biennale (2018).
Melania has a degree in Art Education for Museums and is specialized in Communication and Art Education at the “SantaGiulia” Fine Arts Academy in Brescia (Italy).
